Artist information
I graduated from the University of Glamorgan in 2006 with a 2:1 BA Hons in Art Practice, working primarily in oil on canvas.
My work has been involved with the landscape and in particular with trees, in which I have always been fascinated.
I have recently moved into a studio on Pontypridd station, which is being run in collaboration with Platform Arts (UK) Ltd. This has given me the space I needed to carry on developing and expanding the themes I explored during the degree.
Future work will involve studying environmental change indicated from within the landscape.
I will be looking at forms taken directly from the local landscape and using scale, colour and texture, to convey my response to the viewer.
